In the ever-changing human experience, measurement is not a static act but a dynamic process that reflects our ongoing negotiation with reality. It is neither the accumulation of quantifiable data nor the conquest of ultimate truth. Rather, it exists in liminal space - where the measured and the measurer are intertwined and objectivity is reduced to subjectivity.

  • Oppose the dictatorship of standardization. Measurement systems are never neutral; they are tools to hide bias and reinforce power. We need to dismantle these rigid structures and rethink the nature of measurement.

  • Measurement is a metamorphosis. It is not fixed, but an ever-changing process. Measurement is not about controlling the world, but exploring the relationship between people and the world.

  • Embrace the quantum perspective. Just as the observer in quantum physics affects the object being observed, measurement always changes what it touches. We recognize that the person and the object of measurement cannot be separated; everything is a relationship.

  • Celebrate diversity and subjectivity. Standardization erases diverse voices, while we seek diverse and subjective approaches to measurement. Every measurement is a conversation, not the domination of one party.

  • Measurement sets us free. Leaving behind the rigidity of measurement, it can be a tool for exploration and creativity. Measurement is not an end point, but an endless possibility.

  • We are the creators of reality.
